About the Owner
Starting The Brothers That Just Do Gutters in Huntsville grew out of a longstanding desire to build something of my own and create meaningful job opportunities in our community. With a background in residential construction, I was naturally drawn to the home services industry—but it was meeting the original founders and other franchise owners that truly solidified my decision. Their commitment to quality workmanship, 5-star customer service, and a mission to “reinvent contractor service” aligned closely with my own values.
Opening this business in North Alabama is especially meaningful to me, as my family has called this area home for over 100 years. It’s a privilege to serve the same community that has shaped so much of my life.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, traveling, studying Spanish, and spending time with my wife and our three children.
Bryan Amaya: Head Installer
Bryan brings 7 years of gutter experience to The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, where he has served as a dedicated Head Installer for the last two years. He launched his career in West Palm Beach, Florida, before moving to the area in 2021.

Carol Lee: Operations Manager
Carol Lee is the dedicated Operations Manager for The Brothers That Just Do Gutters in Huntsville, AL, bringing 30 years of diverse Operations Management experience across multiple industries to the team.
In her role, Carol is the backbone of the local operation, responsible for ensuring the entire service process—from initial scheduling to final project completion—runs smoothly and professionally. Her expertise is critical in managing day-to-day logistics, coordinating with installation teams, and clearly communicating important service details, warranty terms, and payment processes to customers. Carol ensures every client receives the high-quality, 5-star experience the company is known for.
Austin Bell: Solutionist
Austin brings experience in construction, with a background in both project management and sales. He is committed to providing 5-Star Customer Service by offering solutions based on each customer's unique project.
In his personal life, Austin is a proud father of seven and enjoys spending his spare time outdoors.
Zack Sprague: Field Supervisor
Zack Sprague is the Field Supervisor at The Brothers That Just Do Gutters.
Zack brings a wealth of valuable information with his 10+ years hands-on experience in construction and gutters. Zack oversees the training and performance of our installation crews, instilling in them our commitment to 5-Star Service. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality craftmanship. He frequently conducts inspections of our crews' work and addresses any customer concerns pertaining to our workmanship and material warranties.
In his personal time, Zack is a father to two sons, is active in the men’s ministry leader at his church, and enjoys playing guitar and studying psychology.

How It All Began
In 1999 Ken Parsons had just left the teaching industry and started his own gutter contractor company under the name Waterfall Seamless Gutters.
In 2002 Ken’s younger brother, Ryan Parsons, accepted a job on the truck with Ken after the Graphic Design company he was working for crashed.
In 2006 the Brothers briefly changed their name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions before finally becoming “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009.
The name we all know and love came from a radio ad the Brothers ran just a couple years prior to the change. Everyone who heard it liked it so much they thought it was the company name so Ken and Ryan stopped fighting it and adopted the name. With the name change came a few title changes as well. We decided we no longer wanted to be salesman, presidents or owners but rather Solutionists©, which embodied what we represent to our clients. Ken Parsons was re-entitled Senior Solutionist©, and Ryan Parsons became Chief Solutionist©.
Being in the gutter contractor business for over 15 years was an effort of adaptation and determination. We have been able to be successful for so long because we made our main focus the customer. The Brothers that just do Gutters offer a wide variety of installations, cleaning and repairs in a small niche industry of seamless rain gutters and leaf guards. We have been able to grow the reliability of our services and offer only the best products by focusing all our effort on gutter systems and guards.

We wanted to reinvent how clients experience contractor services and provide a level of customer service and reliability that was lacking in our industry.
Along the way, we had to learn to move at the speed of business and invent many new methods never before implemented in the contractor field. Meeting our goal of being a five-star contractor and reinventing contractor service meant focusing on every detail of the job. By creating a unique experience with the homeowner, investing in our employees, sourcing the best products, and creating training methods for publishing every review a homeowner made on our independent review services, we started to rise above the rest.
